November Grad Brewhouse Stays Unbeaten in Frances Genter S.

Brewhouse backed up a dominant debut win with a stakes victory Saturday night when she edged She’s My Warrior by a neck in the Frances Genter at Canterbury Park. The race for 3-year-old fillies was one of four stakes on the card.

Brewhouse ($6) was a 5 3/4-length winner of a maiden special weight on July 2 at Canterbury. She led throughout and used the same tactics in the Frances Genter. Brewhouse set fractions of 21.72 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.42 for the half-mile, before completing six furlongs on a fast track in 1:10.41.

The 3-year-old daughter of Tapiture was bred by Scott Pierce and was sold by Legacy Bloodstock at the 2019 Keeneland November Sale. Pierce also bred Legacy Bloodstock Fasig-Tipton October sale grad Scent of Success who ran a good 3rd in the Minnesota Turf Distaff two races later.

Legacy Bloodstock has now sold 105 blacktye winners and the earners of nearly $141 million.
